Dr. Melanie H. Scott is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and fellowship-trained in breast imaging. She is a dedicated breast radiologist,with over 12 years of experience in breast imaging. Dr. Scott is no stranger to Huntsville, Alabama. She served as Medical Director for Huntsville Hospital Breast Center from 2000-2008 and Crestwood Breast Center from 2007-2008. Dr. Scott was offered a position in July of 2008 as Medical Director for Athens Regional Medical Breast Center in Athens, Georgia. During her short leave of one year, she realized Huntsville, Alabama, is her home. She wanted to come back and give back to the women of Huntsville, the breast imaging services they deserve. Dr. Scott has gained the trust and respect from the surgeons and physicians in our medical community. She plans on continuing to build new relationships with local physicians and patients. We are excited to have her back in Huntsville and would like to welcome her to Imaging Excellence for Women.
